Pregnancy is such a beautiful time of preparation and anticipation. Will your baby have mommy's eyes or daddy's smile? It may feel like this season is long but I assure you it goes by in the blink of an eye and your baby will be here before you know it! Preserving this season of life is so important and I love creating images for you to look back and remember the love you had for your baby before they were placed in your arms.
Maternity sessions usually take place between the 28-34 week mark when your belly is nice and round and you're still feeling great!

The first year of a child’s life flies by in a hurried, sleepless haze. The brand new, itty bitty baby stage comes and goes in the blink of an eye. Why not take an intentional moment to freeze time and savor every milestone before it quickly passes by?
My goal as a photographer is to approach the journey of motherhood as a real-life documentary. Not necessarily capturing “picture perfect” moments, but a day-in-the-life approach to the beautiful chaos that is a first year of motherhood. I want these photos to truly reflect each family and portray the joy they feel during this time. Through my intentional pairing of gentle guidance and natural moments, I am able to provide my clients refined and authentic memories to last a lifetime.

Moments captured with the ones you love are truly priceless. As a mom myself, I know how fleeting time is and I want to make these moments count for you. I love shooting at my studio, on the beach and anywhere that has a special meaning to you. I want you to look back on your family portraits and remember just how you felt in those moments.

Two to three weeks after your session, you will come back to the studio for an ordering appointment (or we can do this virtually!) where you will see all of your images and will decide which portraits will be printed in an album, made into a custom piece of artwork for your walls, and/or purchase your digital images.

On your session date, you should prepare to be one hour early for hair and makeup and wardrobe so we can start your session right on time. For outdoor sessions, we select our start time based on the sunset so we have the best light and can capture that golden hour glow. My shooting style is laidback and fun and I love to give gentle guidance in order to capture genuine moments of you and your loved ones.

I want you to LOVE your photos and LOVE the way you look in them. Through the years I have developed a light and airy aesthetic and know that my clients appreciate a little guidance when it comes to outfit selection. I will help you choose a color palette that works best for you and your family members and you and your children will have access to my studio wardrobe! You will also have a hair and makeup team ready to pamper you before your session. Yes, you read that correctly. You will be pampered and you don't have to waste any of your time or money shopping for outfits for your session. You show up on the day of your session and I take care of the rest!
